McCormick for Governor
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—Yesterday, Jennifer McCormick and a campaign staffer were involved in a motor vehicle accident on their way to a fundraiser. No one was injured and only one vehicle was involved. A local off-duty EMT was nearby and responded immediately to provide assistance. A local first response team was on site quickly to assess and resolve the incident.
“Thank you to all for the well wishes yesterday and this morning. We had a car accident on the way to a fundraiser. Thankfully no one was hurt. A big shout out to all first responders who assist every day in every way.” said Jennifer McCormick.
First responders and our police officers work diligently to protect and serve our communities in Indiana. Jennifer McCormick will continue to support these professionals as the next Governor of Indiana.
Jennifer is back on the campaign trail today and is looking forward to an exciting state convention this weekend. She will continue to travel the state listening to Hoosiers and prioritizing issues that impact everyday lives.

About Jennifer McCormick: Jennifer McCormick is a lifelong educator and fifth-generation Hoosier from New Castle, Indiana. She has spent decades serving Indiana as a teacher, principal, and most recently, state superintendent of public instruction. While superintendent in rural Indiana, Jennifer fought to protect local control of school districts to ensure parents, teachers, and administrators could make the best decisions for their children. As state superintendent, she was a powerful advocate for teachers and students, ensuring they had the resources they needed to succeed while protecting taxpayer dollars by demanding transparency and fiscal accountability. Jennifer believes it's time we elect a public servant leader who empowers Hoosier voices so that together, we can make Indiana an attractive state in which to live, work, and thrive.
